Notes:
Empty Love was the first song that Tracey and I ever wrote together. I believe it was even before we actually came up with Sweet-N-Evil and what it would be. I may have even still been in Dreams In Color at that point.
I remember it like it was yesterday. We were in my room sitting in front of my Tascam 244, 4-track recorder. I came up with the lick and it all came to gether very quickly.
Going back and reading Tracey’s lyrics; I didn’t realize how twisted she really was. I have always loved the way she writes lyrics; and wished I could write like her.Â
Of course, with this one; she’s not leaving much up for interpretation.

Verse
I want you to want me
I’m not the kind you bring home in the morning
Take me for a night
Shower me with empty love
Verse
We’re done, you’re through
Close that door behind you
I came, you’ll come
There’s nothing left to do
Verse
Rags or riches, it’s all the same
Sweet girls or bitches, a game is a game
I’m your pawn to use, once again
Bridge
You claimed you need someone
I thought I was that one
I gave you everything I had
Then you took my love, and then you threw it away
All away
Threw it away, far away
Threw it away, all away
Threw it away, far away
Verse
I want you to want me
I’m not the kind you bring home in the morning
Take me for a night
Shower me with empty love
It’s empty love, empty, empty love
It’s empty love, empty, empty love
