I remember exactly where and when the inspiration for this song came from.Â
I was sitting in my Corvette at the traffic light at the intersection of New Rd. and Rt. 46 in Parsippany, NJ. I was listening to WDHA and a brand new song, from a brand band called Great White, called Rock Me came on. I was blown away by the “grove”.
I immediately sat down in front on my 4-track and started putting down some ideas.Â
Listening to Rock Me today: it’s nothing like it; but that was the initial inspiration.
I still love Rock Me, and I really love this song.
